Welcome to our website!
My name is Willy Quiroga and I formed TUNARI in 1986, some years after arriving in Australia. Since that time the band has had many talented and colourful musicians who joined me to make TUNARI a well-known
band in Melbourne.
We have played to delighted Australian audiences around the country and have a reputation as a group that really know how to entertain.
The music of TUNARI has its origins in the musical traditions of the Andean region of South America. The peoples of Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Ecuador (the descendents of the Incas) carry on this especially colourful and joyous music in their daily life, carnivals and celebrations.
